Addus HomeCare is looking for Home Care Aides to provide compassionate, in-home support to clients in Illinois. This entry-level role offers flexible full-time and part-time hours to fit your personal needs while building a rewarding career with an industry leader.

Starting wage is $18.75 per hour with travel reimbursement. Benefits include daily pay options, direct deposit, and a path to employer-sponsored retirement after six months of service. Holidays and PTO are available with tenure.

Qualifications

• Must pass a criminal background check.
• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Reliable transportation.
• Reliable, energetic, self-motivated and well-organized.
• Two references (1 professional, 1 personal).

Caregiver Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care
• Provide occasional house cleaning, laundry, and assist with meal preparation
• Transport clients to appointments and daily errands

Caregiver Qualifications

• Able to pass a criminal background check
• Must have a H.S. Diploma or G.E.D
• Reliable transportation.
• Reliable, energetic, self-motivated and well-organized
• 2 references (1 professional, 1 personal)

Eligible employees and their dependents will be offered health insurance coverage through The SEIU Healthcare Illinois Home Care and Child Care Fund (the 'Fund') including medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision benefits. Employees are also eligible to enroll in employer sponsored retirement plan after 6 months of service (21 years of age). Accrued paid time off (up to 75 hours per year based on tenure), as well as paid holidays (see holiday schedule) for employees who have worked at least 1 year with company, and work 30 hours per week.
