Job summary

Silver Lining Serenity Care LLC is seeking a Home Care Aide to provide compassionate, one-on-one in-home care to clients in Battle Creek, Michigan. This role focuses on respectful, personalized support in the patient's home environment.

You will follow care plans, assist with daily living activities, monitor wellbeing, and report observations to a supervisor. Prior Home Health or Hospice experience is a plus; CPR certification and a valid driver’s license are beneficial.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited Home Health Aide program.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year of professional Home Health/Hospice experience preferred.
• Driver's license is required to access clients' homes.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily activities in their homes.
• Perform personal care and light housekeeping tasks.
• Maintain patient care records and report changes to supervisor.
• Engage patients to support mental sharpness and social connection.
• Assist with medications as directed and immunizations as needed.
• Encourage clients with exercises and activities.

We are looking for a Home Care Aide to join our team! You will be directly working with patients, following a one-on-one care plan in patient homes. You operate with a big heart, not only providing personalized and attentive care but by building genuine relationships with those you serve. You are detail-oriented, highly organized, and committed to creating a healthy environment that meets patient needs. Strong verbal and written communication skills are needed to succeed in this role. Prior Home Health or Hospice experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily activities such as moving in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, or automobiles
• Care for patients by changing bed linens, doing laundry, cleaning the home, or assisting with personal care
• Maintain records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems to report and discuss observations with the supervisor
• Build relationships with patients by conversing or reading aloud to help keep them mentally healthy and alert
• Give medications and immunizations
• Engage patients in exercises or other activities

Compensation: $15.50 - $17.00 per hour
