Job summary

Brookdale Senior Living at Home is seeking a Home Care Aide who will provide one-on-one companionship and non-medical care to seniors in a home setting. This role supports daily living activities, mobility assistance, and light housekeeping to promote independence and comfort for residents.

Ideal candidates will be reliable, compassionate, and able to manage flexible schedules. This position offers full-time, part-time, and PRN opportunities with career growth and benefits relevant to employment

Qualifications

• Ability to provide direct, non-medical care including personal care and transfers.
• Comfort with housekeeping tasks and laundry as part of daily routine.
• Compassionate patient-centered approach with seniors.
• Reliable transportation to assignments and doctor visits.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one companionship and personal care to residents.
• Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing and grooming.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry as part of care plan.
• Support residents with transfers and mobility as needed.
• Remind residents about medications and coordinate with supervisors.

Base pay in range will be determined by applicant's skills and experience. Temporary associates are not benefits eligible but may participate in the company's 401(k) program.

Our caregivers provide direct care to residents, recognize individual needs, encourage independence and treat each senior with respect and dignity. You will nurture a home-like setting the community and assist our seniors with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming and other personal care needs. Our caregivers also help residents with vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping and dishes.
