Job summary

Clayton Homes is seeking a Home Consultant to guide customers through selecting a floor plan, options, and coordinating the build. You will create a world-class home buying experience by connecting buyers with our products and process, including showing homes and scheduling visits.

This full-time role requires a customer-focused seller who can move quickly, follow up with prospects, and work Saturdays. Base pay is $50k with a strong commission plan and potential for growth within Clayton Retail.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of relationship driven business-to-consumer sales preferred.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Ability to move and lift furniture up to 75 lbs. (from the listing requires)
• Professional demeanor and appearance.
• Ability to walk the lot and show homes in all seasons.

Responsibilities

• Create a world class home buying experience by helping customers identify a floor plan and options, and coordinating the construction process.
• Set appointments and follow up with prospective buyers using the CRM.
• Demonstrate models and present features to add value for buyers.
• Merchandise models and maintain the appearance of homes.
• Develop personal prospecting and a strategic sales/marketing plan to increase center traffic.
