Job summary

All Seniors Foundation in Los Angeles is seeking a Home-Based Recreational Therapist to design and implement activities that enhance mental engagement, social interaction, and overall well-being for seniors in their homes.

You will create customized programs using art, music, crafts, gentle exercise, and games, track progress, and coordinate with family caregivers and the care team to sustain engagement and growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Recreational Therapy or related field required.
• CTRS certification preferred.
• Experience with older adults or home health setting is desirable.
• Creativity, empathy, and excellent communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients’ interests, abilities, and therapy goals.
• Develop individualized recreational programs tailored to each senior’s needs.
• Facilitate activities that promote mental stimulation, creativity, and socialization.
• Track client progress and adjust activities to optimize benefits.
