Job summary

Family & Children Services, Inc. is seeking a full-time professional to provide direct in-home services to families in Kalamazoo. The ideal candidate will help prevent out-of-home placements through education and support for families. You will need excellent clinical skills and must be comfortable with non-traditional hours including evenings and weekends.

This role requires a bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field, and at least one year of relevant experience. A valid Michigan driver’s license is necessary for transportation of clients.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience working with children/youth/families.
• Experience working with diverse economic and cultural populations.
• Valid Michigan driver’s license and valid auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide home or community‑based education and support for families.
• Accept and manage referrals from DHHS.
• Prepare written reports and documentation according to timelines.
• Collaborate with community organizations to access resources for clients.
