Job summary

Qualifications

Associate Degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited program required.
Bachelor's or Master's in the same discipline preferred.
Must be certified in the state of Georgia.
Knowledge of physical therapy principles, standards, practices, equipment use, OSHA and infection control regulations.
Experience with neurologically related disorders preferred.
Excellent planning, organizational, writing, and time management skills.
Ability to communicate with families, professionals, and co-workers.
Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

Evaluation and treatment of impairments, including lower extremity function, mobility, vestibular skills, adaptive equipment needs, and environmental safety needs.
