Job summary

Abound Health is hiring Home-Based Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with I/DD in Lackawanna County, PA and nearby areas. Roles are available as full- or part-time with meaningful, one-on-one care in clients’ homes and communities.

Employees will assist with daily living, behavior support, and community activities while documenting progress and following care plans. A $1,000 signing bonus is offered, and shifts include morning, afternoon, or evening options.

Qualifications

• Requires compassionate and reliable individual to support I/DD clients.
• Must be able to work independently and in home/community settings.
• Valid driver’s license with active car insurance required.
• Willingness to pass background checks and lift/transfer as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support in clients’ homes and communities.
• Assist with behavioral, social, and vocational skill development.
• Follow treatment plans and document progress.
• Provide companionship and respite care.
• Submit documentation and payroll timely and accurately.
• Participate in ongoing training and development.
