Job summary

Abound Health is seeking Alternative Family Living Direct Support Professionals to provide in-home caregiving and daily living support for individuals with IDD. You will assist with ADLs, community participation, and behavioral support while helping clients live independently.

This contract role offers a meaningful, relationship-based approach in a home setting. Qualifying families must be NC residents (Asheville, Hendersonville area preferred), be 21+, pass background checks, complete home

Qualifications

• Experience providing daily living support and companionship.
• Ability to follow person-centered plans and routines.
• Ability to pass background checks and safety screenings.
• Willingness to participate in interviews and matching assessment.
• Ability to integrate individual into meals, activities, and family life.

Responsibilities

• Support daily living skills, routines, and healthy habits.
• Offer mentorship, companionship, and emotional support.
