Job summary

3 Birds Accessibility is seeking a Home Access Technician II to install stairlifts, VPLs, walk-in tubs, and bathroom safety equipment in clients' homes. The role involves mid- to high-complexity installations and mentoring newer team members in a hands-on, supportive environment.

The position is full-time, requires a valid driver’s license and travel within the service area, and offers growth toward leadership roles with paid training and certifications.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on remodeling or accessibility work.
• Proficient with power tools, measuring devices, and materials.
• Able to read blueprints and installation manuals.
• Comfortable working with clients in their homes.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel within service area.
• Pass all background checks after conditional offer.
• Compassion and professionalism when serving seniors and disabled.

Responsibilities

• Independently install stairlifts, VPLs, walk-in tubs, and bathroom safety equipment.
• Perform bathroom remodels and ADA-compliant upgrades.
• Complete required training and certifications.
• Conduct on-site assessments and provide feedback to operations.
• Mentor Home Access Trainees and junior team members.
• Maintain records of job completions and measurements.
• Troubleshoot installation challenges to keep projects on track.
