Job summary

DIY Wellness is seeking a compassionate Psychiatrist or Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive psychiatric care for children, adolescents, and adults. Remote, hybrid, or in-person work options in Maryland with a compensation range of $85–$95 per hour and a flexible schedule.

Minimum 20 clinical hours per week. Collaborative, patient-centered practice with ongoing support and professional growth.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school or Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
• Completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry or eligible
• Active, unrestricted Maryland medical license; DEA registration or ability to obtain
• Experience treating diverse patient populations; telemedicine experience; strong communication skills
• Commitment to evidence-based, compassionate patient care

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and DSM-5 diagnoses.
• Develop individualized treatment plans using evidence-based psychiatric care.
• Prescribe, monitor, and adjust psychiatric medications.
• Provide psychotherapy when appropriate.
• Evaluate patients for safety concerns and provide crisis intervention when necessary.
• Maintain timely and accurate electronic medical records; coordinate care with therapists and PCPs.
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, options, medications, and wellness strategies.
• Engage in peer consultation, quality improvement, and CME.
