Job summary

RSM is seeking a dependable Seasonal Store Manager for a temporary Toy Shop during peak holiday season. You will lead daily operations, manage a seasonal team, and ensure a welcoming, customer‑ready experience across all shift periods.

The role requires supervisory experience, strong communication, and solid knowledge of POS systems. You will coordinate with staff and client representatives to maintain high service standards in a busy retail setting.

Qualifications

• Retail or high‑volume customer service experience required or preferred.
• Supervisory experience strongly preferred for leading a seasonal team.
• Comfort with POS systems, inventory handling, and daily reporting.
• Confident communicator able to collaborate with staff, client reps, and customers.
• Strong judgment, reliability, organization, and adaptability in a fast‑paced holiday environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations and ensure staff opening/closing and customer readiness.
• Assign zones, breaks, and cover priority roles during peak periods.
• Coordinate back‑stock replenishment with authorized access only.
• Monitor inventory presentation, pricing, signage, and stock levels; report discrepancies.
• Oversee POS procedures, shift handoffs, returns, and end‑of‑day reconciliation per client guidelines.
• Enforce service standards, customer engagement, safety, attendance, and timekeeping with staffing agency and client.
• Complete opening/closing checklists, sales reports, incident forms, and supply requests; escalate issues as needed.
