Job summary

Five Below is seeking part-time Seasonal Sales Associates for the holiday season (October through January). You will be at the heart of the action, delivering outstanding customer service, keeping merchandise organized, and ensuring efficient checkout experiences.

Responsibilities include assisting customers, promoting promotions, restocking, and contributing to a fast-paced team environment. The role requires a positive attitude, reliability, and strong communication with shoppers and coworkers.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Available to work a flexible schedule.
• Comfortable with or willing to learn technology (computers, cash registers, handhelds, mobile devices).
• Good communicator able to engage with customers.
• Able to handle customer interactions courteously and professionally.
• Use basic information-gathering skills to solve problems.
• Able to learn procedural knowledge through on-the-job training.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers promptly and provide assistance across multiple customers.
• Understand and meet customer needs through product knowledge and recommendations; engage in suggestive selling.
• Promote store events and promotions to enhance shopping experience and drive sales.
• Resolve customer concerns; offer alternatives to turn returns into exchanges when possible.
• Communicate needs to management regarding restocking, service requirements, and feedback.
• Collaborate with team to achieve store objectives and maintain a positive work environment.
