Job summary

Five Below is seeking a part-time Seasonal Sales Associate in New Jersey to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales during the holiday season. The role emphasizes greeting customers, helping them find products, processing transactions, and maintaining organized merchandise.

Ideal candidates are friendly, reliable, and comfortable with basic technology. The position is temporary (October through January) with opportunities to learn and grow within the store team.

Qualifications

• At least 16 years old.
• Available to work a flexible schedule.
• Comfortable with or willing to learn technology (such as computers, cash registers, hand-held and mobile devices).
• Good communicator with the ability to engage with customers.
• Able to handle customer interactions and potential issues/concerns courteously and professionally.
• Use basic information-gathering skills to solve problems.
• Ability to learn procedural knowledge acquired through on- the-job training.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers promptly and efficiently.
• Understand and meet customer needs with product knowledge and recommendations.
• Promote store events and promotions to drive sales.
• Resolve customer concerns and offer alternatives when possible (exchanges).
• Communicate restocking needs and feedback to management in a timely manner.
• Support team and company goals to maintain a positive work environment.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned by the Store Manager.
