Job summary

Five Below is seeking a part-time Seasonal Sales Associate to be at the heart of our holiday action. Deliver outstanding customer service, drive strong sales, keep merchandise organized, ensure the floor is stocked, and provide seamless checkout experiences at the register. The role runs October through January as a temporary position.

Candidates should be at least 16 years old, flexible in schedule, comfortable with technology, and able to communicate clearly. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• At least 16 years old.
• Available to work a flexible schedule.
• Comfortable with or willing to learn technology (such as computers, cash registers, hand-held and mobile devices).
• Good communicator with the ability to engage with customers.
• Able to handle customer interactions and issues courteously and professionally.
• Use basic information-gathering skills to solve problems.
• Ability to learn procedural knowledge acquired through on-the-job training.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers promptly and provide assistance at the register.
• Understand and meet customer needs with product knowledge and recommendations.
• Promote store events and promotions to drive sales.
• Resolve customer concerns and offer exchanges when possible.
• Communicate merchandise needs and restocking to management.
• Support team and company goals to maintain a positive store environment.
