Job summary

Crate and Barrel is seeking Seasonal Cashiers to help deliver an engaging in-store experience. You will process orders quickly at the POS, answer questions, and keep the cashwrap neat and welcoming.

You’ll be a friendly brand ambassador, assisting shoppers with gift ideas, promotions, and loyalty programs, while supporting store leadership to maintain profitability and excellent service. Weekend availability during Thanksgiving and Christmas is required.

Qualifications

• Customer service or retail experience preferred.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; team assist for heavier merchandise.
• Availability to work the weekend after Thanksgiving and the days surrounding Christmas.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales by quickly, efficiently and accurately processing customer orders through the POS system.
• Respond to customer questions in a professional and respectful manner.
• Process payments as outlined in POS training.
• Communicate promotions, offers, loyalty programs and other initiatives to customers.
• Wrap/bag orders and keep the cash wrap neat and stocked.
• Support store leadership in profitability and operational excellence.
• Assist with stocking products and displays on the sales floor.
• Execute visual merchandising standards to engage customers and associates.
