The Salvation Army in Owensboro, KY is seeking a dedicated driver to operate a truck/van for collecting gifts from malls, agencies, churches, and delivering to the Christmas warehouse. You will load and unload donations, comply with state driving regulations, maintain vehicle safety, and assist in warehouse tasks as needed.

Must have high school diploma or GED and at least two years of driving experience and be able to lift 25–100 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of two years driving experience.
• Knowledge of the assigned geographic area.
• Ability to organize routes to save time and fuel.
• Ability to work effectively with co-workers and donors.
• Ability to perform general cleaning activities for building.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to meet attendance requirements.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Ability to operate commercial equipment.
• Ability to exert physical energy and lift 25–100 lbs.
• Ability to stoop, stand, climb, and push/pull moderately to heavily loaded donations.

Responsabilités

• Drive truck/van to malls, agencies, and churches to pick up gifts and transport to the Christmas warehouse.
• Load and unload donations; ensure safety and security of vehicle and cargo.
• Operate vehicle in compliance with Salvation Army standards and state driving regulations.
• Assist in warehouse tasks as requested.
