Job summary

The Salvation Army Glendale Corps is seeking a Christmas Ambassador for a temporary full-time role during the holiday season. As a bell ringer, you will represent the organization at approved locations, greet customers, and help collect donations for The Salvation Army.

Responsibilities include arriving on time, ringing the kettle, wearing proper ID, logging hours, and coordinating with the Kettle Coordinator. Prioritizes safety, courtesy, and community service.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• Background check required when near children and compliance with Protect the Mission policies.
• Neatly groomed, friendly, respectful, honest, and punctual.

Responsibilities

• Show up to work on time at the assigned location.
• Stand and ring the bell at kettle stand.
• Wear proper identification (ID badge, logo attire).
• Record worked hours on the time slip each day, including lunch breaks.
• Greet customers in a friendly manner.
• Communicate with Kettle Coordinator when unable to report to work or availability changes.
• Do not eat, drink, be on the phone, or use controlled substances while working.
• Keep work area clean.
• Perform other assignments/duties as directed.
