Job summary

HobbyTown Spring, TX is hiring Full‑Time Team Members to join a growing HobbyTown location in the Greater Houston area.

As a team member, you will deliver friendly, knowledgeable service, assist customers across RC, models, tabletop gaming, STEM and more, and support store operations, merchandising, inventory, and events. This role prioritizes customer experience and teamwork in a fast-paced, energetic retail setting.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer-focused experience preferred.
• Ability to learn technical product details and teach customers.
• Able to stand, move, and lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly, knowledgeable, and solution-oriented service to every customer.
• Engage customers to understand needs and provide recommendations.
• Demonstrate product knowledge across hobby categories (RC, models, tabletop gaming, STEM).
• Assist with product troubleshooting and in-store demonstrations when appropriate.
• Support loyalty programs, events, workshops, and community engagement.
• Operate the POS system for transactions and returns.
• Follow cash-handling procedures and security protocols.
• Complete daily tasks: opening/closing, stocking, store standards.
• Assist with receiving, labeling, and organizing merchandise.
• Maintain merchandising standards and back-stock organization.
