Job summary

Banc of California is seeking an HOA Account Servicing Specialist to provide frontline support for new accounts and ongoing account servicing. You will verify customer information, review documentation, and open and maintain various account types, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of direct experience in opening new accounts at a financial institution/bank.
• Strong teamwork and ability to work collaboratively and independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail oriented with good problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Verify CIP/CDD information and regulatory documentation.
• Review documents for accuracy and quality.
• Open Checking, Money Market, and CD accounts.
• Input new accounts in the core banking system and process for review.
• Update and supersede signature cards and other documents.
• Perform account closures when needed.
• Communicate with HOA Senior Account Servicing Specialists and Team Lead to ensure consistency.
• Collaborate with Relationship Managers and Regional Account Executives when intervention is required.
• Execute maintenance tasks such as address/name/type changes and other account-level updates.
• Follow all policies and procedures and perform other duties as assigned.

THE OPPORTUNITY

The HOA Account Servicing Specialist works under general supervision and provides support to clients regarding New Accounts and general Account Servicing. Performs all duties in accordance with the Company’s policies and procedures, all U.S. state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the Company operates.

How You’ll Make a Difference

• Play a key role in verifying Customer Information Profile (CIP)/Customer Due Diligence (CDD).
• Review all documentation for accuracy and quality.
• Open Checking, Money Market, and Certificate of Deposit accounts.
• Input new accounts in Bank’s core system and submit complete packages for callback review.
• Supersede signature cards and other documents.
• Perform Account Closures.
• Communicate regularly with HOA Senior Account Servicing Specialists, HOA Account Servicing Analysts and Team Lead to ensure consistency/quality of processes.
• Collaborate with business partners including Relationship Managers and Regional Account Executives regarding their assigned clients if RM intervention is required.
• Perform various types of maintenance including but not limited to, Change of Address, Name Changes, account type changes, and all other Customer and account level changes.
• Follow all established policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

SALARY RANGE

The base salary ultimately offered is determined through a review of education, industry experience, training, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant in alignment with market data and other factors.
