Blue Origin LLC is seeking a Safety and Reliability Senior Systems Engineer for the HLS Program with a Denver, CO site and other locations. The role leads program safety and reliability deliveries, collaborates with NASA safety teams, and develops integrated hazard reports to support design and certification milestones.

You will drive program reliability assessments, track safety metrics, and serve as the focal point for NASA SRP.

Qualifications

  • B.S. degree in engineering or a related technical field.

  • Facilitate consistent processes and deliveries from the vehicle and operations elements.

  • Track metrics against safety and reliability products in support of design and certification milestones.
  • Serve as Blue Origin focal on the NASA Safety Review Panel (SRP).
  • Perform technical work and provide technical leadership of the highest caliber.
  • Work independently toward long-range objectives and determine the technical objectives of assignments.
  • Embody, promote, and coach the Blue Origin leadership principles.
  • Work with multiple partners to define system-level interfaces that cross element boundaries.

This role is part of the Lunar Permanence business unit, which develops Blue Origin’s Blue Moon landers and related products.
