Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Hitch Service Technician to work at our Spokane, WA location. You will install and explain tow packages, provide outstanding service, and handle basic wiring and hand/power tool tasks.

A valid driver's license and a high school diploma are required. We offer paid interviews, a $100 hiring bonus, a $300 cash bonus after certification, and benefits including health insurance, 401(k), and employee assistance.

Qualifications

• Requires valid driver's license and ability to maintain a good driving record.
• Basic wiring and hand/power tool experience is preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Understand and explain U-Haul's variety of towing packages.
• Recommend and install the right tow package on customer vehicles.
• Provide exceptional customer service and support to U-Haul customers.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University.

Hitch Service Technician Primary Responsibilities:

• Understand and explain U-Haul's variety of towing packages

Requirements:

The work involves moderate risks or discomforts which require special safety precautions, e.g., working around moving parts, machines, fumes, or irritating chemicals. May be required to use protective clothing, or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves, or shields.

Physical Demands:

The work requires some physical exertion such as long periods both indoors and outdoors of remaining stationery, traversing spaces, repositioning to reach and use tools, and moving a minimum of 50 lbs. assisted or unassisted.

Pay Range is: $17.13 - $19 Hourly
