Allina Health in Minneapolis is seeking a Histotechnologist to perform complex specimen procedures in anatomical/surgical pathology. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in histotechnology, HTL certification, and experience in laboratory procedures.
This full-time position includes day/evening shifts with occasional weekends, paying between $38.67 and $52.47 per hour. Comprehensive benefits, including medical coverage, PTO, and tuition reimbursement, are offered.

Department: Central Lab Pathology (72006389). Shift: Day/Evening (8am-4:30pm Monday through Friday). Occasional weekend shift Saturday 7am-3:30pm. Hours per week: 40. Union: SEIU-9-Central Lab-SLC. Shift length: 8‑hour shift.

FTE 1.0 (80 hours per two‑week pay period). 8‑hour day/evening shift (8a‑4:30p). Occasional weekend shift (Sat7a‑3:30p).
Performs moderate and complex specimen procedures in the areas of anatomical/surgical pathology and immunohistochemistry. Oversees one or more technical work area, which includes oversight of key operators, regulatory compliance, new method project plans, technical communications, and cost‑effective inventory control. Serves as a lead for training students and new employees, participates in system competency development, and assists in the direct observation of staff for the annual competency program. Functions as a liaison to system Technical Specialist and serves as Charge Tech in absence of Lead/Supervisor/Manager.
Light work: Lifting weight up to 20 lbs occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently.
$38.67 to $52.47 per hour. The pay described reflects the base hourly pay range. Your starting rate would depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable). Shift, weekend and/or other differentials may be available to increase your pay rate for certain shifts or work.
