Job summary

A medical laboratory services provider in Knoxville, TN is seeking Histology Professionals to process tissue specimens and perform histopathological duties. Ideal candidates should have an Associate’s degree in a relevant science and detail-oriented skills. This role offers comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and 401(k). Working hours are Monday - Friday from 11:30 pm to 8:00 am, with occasional weekends.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in a relevant field or meet local regulatory requirements.
• Preferred Histology and/or ASCP certifications.
• Experience in histology preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Process human tissue and fluid specimens for microscopic exam.
• Perform technical duties related to histopathological slides.
• Operate and maintain instruments in the laboratory.
