Grade Potential Tutoring is seeking an in-person tutor to support a 10th-grade student in history and writing. The role requires traveling up to 5–10 miles to the student's home in Suisun City or nearby libraries in Vacaville/Vallejo, with sessions planned 2 hours per week on Tue, Thu, and Fri between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm.

The ideal candidate has high school tutoring experience, may hold a teaching certification, and is not a minor for insurance reasons.

• Willing to travel within a 5-10 mile radius.
• Must not be a minor due to insurance requirements.

Responsabilités

About the student

• Autistic 10th grader seeking tutoring for history and writing.
  
• The student is currently at a 7th-8th grade level and is falling behind with coursework. Her goal is to improve her grades and learn how to manage her own notes.
• The student is seeking 2 hours of tutoring per week during her availability: Tuesday, Thursday, & Friday from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm.
• The student is seeking a tutor who can meet for in-person sessions at her family's home in Suisun City. Alternatively, the student is willing to travel to a library/public location for tutoring in Vacaville or Vallejo.

REQUIRED

• You have experience teaching/tutoring high school students.
• You are willing to travel within your preferred local radius to meet the student (typically 5-10 miles).
• Due to insurance requirements, applicant must not be a minor.

PREFERRED

• You have experience working with autistic individuals.

• $25 - $30 per hour
