Job summary

Palm Beach State College is seeking an adjunct instructor to teach History courses, develop and assess curricula, and participate in program evaluation. The role supports college mission with a flexible schedule and evening/weekend commitments.

The position requires a Master’s degree in History (or 18 graduate hours in History) and proficiency with Canvas and Microsoft Office. Staff will engage with diverse student populations and contribute to departmental activities.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in History or Master’s degree with 18 graduate semester hours in History.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Canvas Learning Management System.

Responsibilities

• Instruct college students using established educational theories and techniques.
• Develop and update curriculum and course materials.
• Assess student learning and participate in program evaluation.
• Maintain and apply college standards in teaching and service.
• Coordinate schedules, tests, and faculty assignments.
• Assist students and participate in curriculum reviews and articulation activities.
