Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in History
• Master’s degree with 18 graduate hours in History
• Degree must be from a regionally accredited college or university

Responsibilities

• Teach classes based on varied schedules and modalities (Dual Credit, On-Campus, Online or Weekend College) as assigned by supervisor
• Accommodate student needs and external stakeholders’ expectations of the College
• Deliver instruction following the College Master Syllabus using the LMS
• Communicate with students and college officials regularly, including emails and meetings
• Pursue activities to enhance subject matter expertise and teaching skills
• Prepare assignments and assessments to ensure learning outcomes
• Maintain an active classroom environment conducive to student learning
• Maintain attendance records and certify enrollments by deadlines
• Evaluate student performance per standards and post grades weekly
• Assign grades consistent with course requirements
• Assist in assessing student learning outcomes and program outcomes
• Accept assignments at other sites for dual-credit courses
