Charles River Laboratories is seeking an experienced Histology Specialist to independently perform advanced histology, review QA documentation, and support audits and method development. The role includes training junior staff and may involve basic and specialized necropsy procedures.
Strong collaboration with management and sponsors is required. Minimum education includes a high school diploma or GED, with a Bachelor’s degree in a biological science preferred.

Independently perform advanced histology functions. Prepare and review documentation and perform quality control review of study data. Provide expertise in the area of histology to other staff and visitors as needed.
The hourly rate for this position is $33.00. Please note that salaries vary within the range based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, certifications, and location.
