Job summary

Tenet Healthcare is seeking a qualified Histotechnician to prepare tissue sections for microscopic examination by the Pathologist. The role includes preserving, cutting, staining, and mounting slides and requires completion of designated competencies within the introductory period.

Minimum education is a Bachelor's or Associate Degree, with at least 2 years of Histotechnician experience and an ASCP Histologic Technician certification or equivalent. Other duties as assigned may apply.

• 2 years experience as a Histotechnician.
• Histologic Technician (HT) ASCP certification or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Preserve, cut, stain, and mount tissue sections on slides for microscopic analysis by the Pathologist.

• Perform related duties as assigned.
