The role collaborates with pathologists, scientists, technicians, and engineers to ensure high-quality histology work and data integrity. The candidate should have a biology-related Bachelor’s degree and ASCP HT/HTL certification, with 2+ years of histology experience and proficiency in LIMS and lab equipment maintenance.

Qualifications

  • Candidate will perform routine and complex histological techniques including paraffin and resin embedding, microtomy, cryosectioning, staining, and IHC.
  • Maintains specimen integrity and traceability across lab workflows and LIMS.
  • Strong communication and collaboration with pathology team and engineers to support device research.

Responsibilities

  • Performs paraffin and resin embedding, microtomy, cryosectioning, staining, and IHC.
  • Develops and implements new histological techniques and workflows.
  • Processes tissue and device specimens following study protocols and SOPs.
  • Manages specimens through lifecycle in LIMS; tracks, stores, archives, and disposes responsibly.
  • Maintains inventory and supports procurement of lab supplies and equipment.
