Qualifications

• Experience with histology techniques and tissue handling.
• Familiarity with hematoxylin and eosin staining and slides.
• Ability to follow standard lab procedures and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve and verify patient samples and track specimens.
• Accession, process, and embed tissue blocks for cutting.
• Perform microtomy and coverslipping on prepared slides.
• Maintain lab equipment and handle hazardous reagents safely.
• Operate and document in the Lab Information System.
