Job summary

BrightStar Care - Cleveland West is seeking an RN with Trach & Vent experience to provide high-quality patient care in both home and facility-based settings. You will manage airway support, ventilator care, and complex pediatric and memory/dementia cases within a supportive clinical team.

Schedule options include Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm, with willingness to work in Elyria and Lorain. Join us to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care and ongoing professional growth.

Qualifications

• Active Ohio RN license (unencumbered).
• Minimum 1 year clinical experience (home care or critical care preferred).
• Current BLS/CPR certification and TB clearance.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with patient mobility.
• Up-to-date vaccinations (COVID-19, Flu, Hep B).

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care for pediatric, memory/dementia, and complex care patients.
• Perform Trach & Vent care, including airway and ventilator support.
• Monitor patient condition and respond to clinical changes promptly.
• Assist with ADLs and patient mobility as needed.
• Implement infection control and patient safety protocols.
• Administer care per physician orders and clinical guidelines.
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation.
• Communicate effectively with care team, patients, and families.
• Ensure compliance with safety and clinical standards.
• Participate in ongoing training and skills development.

• Willing to work in Elyria Lorain

What We Are Looking For

• Someone who has experience in Trach and Vent | Pediatric Care
• Supportive, hands-on clinical environment
• Meaningful one-on-one patient care
• Assist with G-tube feedings, meds, suctioning orally as needed, resp Tx twice daily
• Experience in pediatric, memory/dementia, and hospital-level care
• Strong commitment to compassionate, high-quality nursing care
