The Orvis School of Nursing at the Carnegie R1-designated University of Nevada, Reno, is seeking an inaugural Nurse Scientist to join its academic-practice partnership with Renown Health, Nevada's largest not-for-profit integrated healthcare network.

Working closely with Renown's Chief Nurse Executive, nursing leaders, clinical nurses and interprofessional teams, the Nurse Scientist will build relationships, infrastructure and a culture that makes nursing inquiry an integral part of clinical practice and organizational decision-making.

The position will build and advance scholarship focused on nursing outcomes while strengthening research capacity across academic and clinical settings. The open-rank position offers tenure-track and research-focused non-tenure-track pathways.
