Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) is looking to hire a School Psychologist to join our team and help us positively impact the lives of children and communities across the nation. You will provide counseling to students and families and contribute to educational planning and support.

The role involves collaboration with teachers, families, and outside agencies, participation in IEP development, and active involvement in multi-tiered support programs to promote social and emotional growth.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree required in psychology or closely related field.
• Endorsement as a School Psychologist required or eligible per state bylaws.
• Experience or training in pediatric mental health preferred.

• Participate in a multi-tiered system of support for students with social/emotional and behavioral needs, including participation in inter-disciplinary meetings to evaluate and discuss the diagnosis and treatment of students.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Providing counseling services to students and their parents.
• Participate in a multi-tiered system of support for students with social/emotional and behavioral needs, including participation in inter-disciplinary meetings to evaluate and discuss the diagnosis and treatment of students.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Psychology.
• Has obtained or is eligible for an endorsement as a School Psychologist as prescribed in the bylaws of the State Department of Education.
• Experience or specialized training in the field of pediatric mental health is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and maintain ethical and accountability standards.
• Demonstrates interpersonal skills, and communicates effectively and courteously both verbally and in writing.
• Has the ability to coordinate activities and work effectively with professional staff, support staff, parents, and representatives from agencies outside the school system.
