Aerotek is seeking an Assembly Technician for high-end office furniture in Stewartville, MN. You will perform the first assembly using hand and power tools while closely following blueprints to ensure precise builds and quality outcomes.

Job Description

Join our team to perform the first assembly of high-end office furniture using various hand and power tools. You'll be instrumental in building and assembling wood products with precision and care.

Responsibilities

• Perform first assembly of high-end office furniture.
• Use hand and power tools, including table saws, band saws, and miter saws.
• Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate assembly.
• Ensure quality by inspecting finished products.
• Engage in paint preparation and industrial painting tasks.
• Handle woodworking tasks, including finish and trim carpentry.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in carpentry and cabinetry.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Experience with hand and power tools, including miter saws and table saws.
• Familiarity with woodworking and custom cabinetry.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience in manufacturing, general labor, farming, or construction.

Work Environment

Work in a newly built Milling department with excellent ventilation and lighting. Utilize new equipment and tools in a well-organized manufacturing process. Adhere to a dress code requiring steel-toed boots, safety glasses (provided), and hearing protection (provided). You may wear jeans or shorts during the summer. The work hours are from 3:30 pm to 2:00 am, Monday through Thursday, with optional overtime on Fridays, paid at double time if attendance is perfect during the week.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Stewartville, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
