Job summary

Temple Emanuel Early Childhood Center (TEECC) is seeking an Full-Time Early Childhood Educator to join a vibrant, inquiry-driven program serving children 18 months to 5 years. Join a collaborative team that designs learning spaces, co-constructs curricula, and builds strong partnerships with families.

Ideal candidates bring a combination of formal education, classroom experience, and a commitment to ongoing growth within a Reform Jewish, Reggio-inspired setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 90-hour Certificate in Early Childhood Curriculum and Development or a 4-year college degree in Education or related field.
• Experience with young children in a classroom setting preferred.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and growth as an educator.
• Collaborative spirit and ability to work in a team.

• 90-hour Certificate in Early Childhood Curriculum and Development OR 4-year College Degree in Education or a related field.
• Experience working with young children, preferably in a classroom setting.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and desire to grow as an educator.
• A collaborative spirit
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Physical ability to ensure the safety and care of young children, including, but not limited to, lifting (up to 40 lbs.), carrying or chasing children, sitting on/rising from the floor, etc.
