Job summary

DirectShifts is seeking an experienced RN lead nurse for an outpatient care assignment in New York. The role requires strong clinical leadership on the unit, oversight of patient flow, and collaboration with physicians and staff to maintain quality of care.

Shifts are Monday, Wednesday, Friday 8:30am–5:00pm, Tuesday and Thursday until 7pm, with one to two Saturdays a month 8am–4:30pm. The contract is a W2 position paying $60–$62/hr, running from 8/24/2026 to 11/21/2026.

Qualifications

• Must have strong RN lead nurse experience.
• Familiarity with outpatient care and diabetes is a strong plus.
• Shift pattern includes days and some Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Lead nurse on shift and oversee patient care coordination.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to maintain quality of care.
• Support efficient patient flow in the outpatient setting.
