Job summary

Harry & David, part of the 1-800-FLOWERS.COM family, is hiring Seasonal Material Handlers at our Hebron, Ohio facility. Join a fast-paced warehouse team during peak season and help move products from receiving to shipping.

Two shifts are offered with competitive hourly pay: 1st shift $15.50/hour and 2nd shift $16.50/hour. Applicants must be 18+, able to perform physical tasks, and willing to work a seasonal schedule. Prior warehouse experience is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks.
• Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials.
• Basic reading, counting, and communication skills.
• Ability to follow safety, quality, and work instructions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work the scheduled shift and seasonal schedule.
• Prior warehouse/production/packing experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Move, load, unload, and organize boxes and materials.
• Prepare materials and products for production.
• Build boxes and pack products.
• Wrap and move pallets.
• Load finished products for shipment.
• Unload palletized and non-palletized boxes from trailers.
• Use RF scanners to track inventory.
• Put materials away in designated locations.
• Inspect and package products.
• Apply labels to finished packages.
• Work with team to meet daily production goals.
• Follow established safety, quality, and productivity standards.

Harry & David, part of the 1-800-FLOWERS.COM, Inc. family of brands, is hiring Seasonal Material Handlers at our facility in Hebron, Ohio.

We are looking for dependable, hardworking individuals who are ready to join a fast-paced team and help support our operations during our busiest time of year.

Seasonal Shifts & Pay

1st Shift – $15.50/hour

Monday – Friday

8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

2nd Shift – $16.50/hour

Sunday – Thursday

4:30 PM – 1:00 AM

Schedules and hours may vary based on business needs during peak season.

What You'll Do

As a Seasonal Material Handler, you will help keep products and materials moving throughout our operation. Depending on your assigned area, responsibilities may include:

Moving, loading, unloading, and organizing boxes and materials

Preparing materials and products for production

Building boxes and packing products

Wrapping and moving pallets

Loading finished products for shipment

Unloading palletized and non-palletized boxes from trailers

Using RF scanners to scan, track, or receive inventory

Putting materials away in designated warehouse locations

Inspecting, packing, and preparing products

Applying labels or stickers to finished packages

Working with team members to meet daily production goals

Following established safety, quality, and productivity standards

Previous warehouse, distribution, production, packing, or material handling experience is helpful, but not required. Candidates with transferable experience are encouraged to apply.
