Job summary

DirectShifts seeks a Traveling Dentist to serve residents in skilled nursing facilities. You will assess dental health, discuss treatment plans, perform limited procedures, and conduct oral cancer screenings across local sites.

This two-day-per-week role offers a flexible schedule with a daily pay rate of $850, plus drive time and clinic time compensation capped at 8 hours. Must hold an active North Carolina dental license and a valid driver’s license.

• Own reliable transportation to travel between sites.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with facilities and families to ensure daily oral hygiene support.

Job description

Being a Traveling Dentist with Aria Care Partners provides you with the opportunity to deliver unmatched patient care to residents in skilled nursing facilities. You will be responsible for assessing dental health, addressing dental concerns, developing and discussing the treatment plan, performing limited procedures, and conducting oral cancer screenings.

We are seeking a Dentist for 2 days per week.

Compensation:

Competitive pay with a minimum daily guarantee. Drive time + Clinic time is all compensated and capped within 8 hours. Locations are 20 minutes to 2 hours away.

The daily pay rate would be $850.

Responsibilities:

• Develop treatment plans to manage, improve, and treat dental and oral health issues
• Perform simple procedures such as exams, fillings, extractions, and denture-related services.
• Order diagnostic measures, such as x-rays.
• Apply helpful agents to teeth, such as silver diamine fluoride, to arrest decay.
• Maintain accurate dental records.
• Manage and communicate with the facility and family to ensure the patient has the proper support for successful daily oral hygiene.

Requirements:

• Current Active Dentist license in the state in good standing.
• Valid Driver’s License with no moving violations in the last 5 years.
• Own reliable transportation
