Job summary

Maya Home Care in New Jersey is hiring dedicated HHA certified caregivers to provide compassionate in-home care. You will assist clients with daily living activities, provide companionship, and maintain a safe, clean environment in client homes.

Qualifications

• HHA certification in NJ required
• Previous experience in home care or related field preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills essential

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, meal prep)
• Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities
• Perform light housekeeping to maintain a safe environment
• Monitor and report changes in health status to care coordinator
• Follow individualized care plans with compassion and respect
• Ensure client comfort and safety at all times
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided
