Job summary

Preferred Care at Home of San Antonio North is seeking compassionate Caregivers to join our team in San Antonio. You will provide in-home, non-medical care to clients who need assistance with daily living activities. This is a part-time or full-time position with a competitive pay and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of others.

Client needs care Monday and Wednesday 10am to 4pm. Responsibilities include personal care, meal prep, light housekeeping, and medication

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of caregiving experience, preferably with elderly or disabled.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding.
• Perform light housekeeping duties and laundry.
• Accompany clients to appointments and outings.
• Administer medication reminders and report changes to supervisor.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided.
• Communicate effectively with clients and their families.

Responsibilities:

Varies from client to client

• Provide personal care and assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding

• Report any changes in client's condition to the supervising nurse or manager
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable
