Job summary

Process Solutions & Products LLC seeks an experienced Automation Commissioning Lead to provide technical leadership for a large-scale data center project. You will ensure automation systems are designed, integrated, tested, and commissioned in line with schedule, quality, and reliability goals.

The role interfaces with the Owner, project teams, and system integrators, requiring independent execution, strong communication, and hands-on field work across mechanical and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead automation and controls execution across the full project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule and quality.
• Oversee system integrators; review and approve PLC, HMI/SCADA, historian, and network architectures.
• Establish and enforce automation standards, naming conventions, and cybersecurity requirements.
• Coordinate industrial network design and commissioning, including Layer 2/3 architecture and VLAN segmentation.
• Ensure proper configuration of communication protocols such as OPC UA and Modbus TCP/IP.
• Lead integration of control systems across mechanical and power systems (HVAC, BMS, UPS, generators).
• Develop and execute commissioning plans, including I/O checkout, loop checks, functional testing, IST.
• Coordinate FAT activities; validate vendor and integrator performance; drive resolution of deficiencies.

This role is responsible for ensuring automation systems are fully integrated, reliable, and aligned with overall project performance objectives.

Role Summary

The Automation Lead serves as the primary interface between the Owner, project teams, and system integrators. This role is responsible for ensuring all automation systems are properly designed, integrated, tested, and commissioned in alignment with project schedule, quality, and reliability requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead automation and controls execution across the full project lifecycle, ensuring
