Job summary

Tryon Medical Partners in Charlotte is seeking a Privacy Compliance Coordinator to support adherence to HIPAA and state privacy regulations. You will investigate privacy incidents, contribute to privacy policy development, and coordinate training across sites.

The role requires 6–7 years in healthcare privacy or compliance, excellent analytical and communication skills, and proficiency with MS Office. Monday–Friday on-site at SouthPark, with a collaborative, detail‑oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 6–7 years of experience in healthcare privacy or compliance.
• Experience handling sensitive information and projects.
• Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and respond to privacy incidents and prepare responses for patients.
• Develop, implement, and maintain HIPAA privacy policies and procedures.
• Conduct privacy risk assessments and walk-throughs; mitigate risks.
• Support internal and external privacy and security audits and reviews.
• Deliver privacy and security training to team members.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal/state privacy laws and HIPAA.
• Represent Privacy team in internal/external meetings.
• Perform other duties to support Privacy program and operations.
