Job summary

Indiana University Health is seeking a BE/BC Orthopaedic Surgeon fellowship-trained in hip and knee arthroplasty to join our practice in Indianapolis, IN. This provider will primarily practice at Eskenazi hospital in downtown Indianapolis.

The position involves general orthopaedics with level 1 call, a 40/60 inpatient to outpatient mix, and a schedule including full-time weekdays with weekend calls and several 24-hour shifts per month. Ample PCP referrals underpin a growing practice.

Qualifications

• ABOS board certification or board eligibility required.
• Fellowship training in hip and knee arthroplasty preferred.
• MD or DO degree required.
• Ability to obtain Indiana medical license.

Responsibilities

• Practice general orthopaedics with level 1 call.
• Treat a wide range of orthopaedic conditions at Eskenazi hospital.
• Schedule: full-time M-F with weekend call and 3–7 24-hour shifts per month.
• Inpatient 40% / Outpatient 60% split; rapid practice growth with strong PCP referrals.
