Job summary

Ensemble Schools, a network of community‑driven music and dance studios, is seeking a part‑time Contemporary Dance Instructor to lead Hip Hop for ages 8–12 at Production Company Dance Centre in Longmont, CO. The role emphasizes engaging in-person instruction and developing students’ confidence and performance skills.

The position offers private lessons opportunities, masterclasses, ongoing teacher training, and a 401(k) with matching plus healthcare options for part‑time teachers.

Qualifications

• High-energy and engaging with kids of all ages.
• Organized, responsible, and comfortable communicating with community venues and clients.
• Significant experience performing and teaching ballet.
• Able to choreograph, clean, and rehearse routines independently.
• Comfortable working with a wide range of skill levels (beginner through teen).
• Experienced in music editing/cutting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Hip Hop lessons to children (ages 8–12) in-person, with classes on Wednesdays 7:15–8:15 PM.
• Offer private lessons in Hip Hop and/or other styles around teaching blocks.
• Choreograph, clean, and rehearse routines independently for performances or showcases.
• Communicate effectively with venues and clients to coordinate schedules and expectations.
