Job summary

CommonSpirit Memorial Hospital is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Orthopedic Total Joint Surgeon to join our newly established orthopedic practice in the TN/GA market.

The ideal candidate will deliver comprehensive orthopedic care, perform advanced surgical procedures, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient-centered outcomes. This physician-led role offers access to cutting-edge technology and a robust referral network within a faith-based, not-for-profit system.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Fellowship in orthopedics with total joint experience preferred.
• Board certification or board-eligible in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Licensed to practice in TN/GA (unrestricted).
• AHA BLS certification required.
• 2–3 years post-residency experience preferred; exceptional new graduates may be considered.
• Epic EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive orthopedic care: diagnose, treat, and manage musculoskeletal conditions for diverse patient needs.
• Perform advanced surgical procedures: expertise in a wide range of orthopedic surgeries, including hip specialized orthopedic cases.
• Ensure patient-centered care: provide empathetic communication, clear treatment explanations, and prioritize patient safety and satisfaction.
• Collaborate effectively: work with multi-disciplinary teams, referring physicians, and rehabilitation specialists for integrated care.
• Maintain clinical excellence: adhere to best practices, participate in call rotation, and uphold accurate medical documentation.
• Commit to professional growth: engage in ongoing medical education, quality initiatives, and professional development.
