Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Edit short-form and mid-length videos for reels, social media ads, promos, and explainers.
• Implement hooks, pacing, and narrative rhythm to maximize retention.
• Tailor editing styles to platform-specific behaviors (Instagram, YouTube Shorts).
• Enhance video quality with color grading, text animations, and sound design.
• Collaborate with writers, designers, and creative leads to realize scripts and concepts.
• Stay updated on editing trends, memes, and audio trends to keep content fresh.
• Analyze ad performance and apply learnings to improve edits for CTR and completion rates.
• Edit videos in Hindi with linguistic accuracy and cultural sensitivity.
• 1–4 years of experience in video editing for social media or digital content.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro or similar.
• Strong portfolio of short-form content.
• Good understanding of social platform algorithms and engagement tactics.
• Strong storytelling instincts and visual creativity.
