Job summary

Mercor connects elite creative and technical talent with leading AI research labs. We are seeking a Hindi Linguistic Expert for a contract role focused on ensuring high-quality Hindi content for translation, editing, and annotation tasks in AI workloads.

You will collaborate with AI researchers, edit and refine Hindi text, and annotate linguistic features to guide model training. Remote work from the UK is supported, and candidates with strong language proficiency are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Native fluency in Hindi with excellent grammar, syntax and stylistics.
• Professional experience in translation, editing, linguistic annotation, or NLP data work in Hindi.
• Strong understanding of linguistic nuances, regional variations and context-appropriate usage.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot subtle errors or unnatural phrasing.
• Clear communication skills and experience working in distributed, remote teams.
