Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associates preferred.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in an acute care facility or similar healthcare environment.
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology.
• Excellent customer service with courteous communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process and file patient medical records and birth recording as assigned.
• Coordinate access to health information via phone or in person.
• Release information in accordance with state and federal laws.
• Maintain accurate MPI and support CDI and revenue cycle functions.
• Provide help desk support for patient portal access.
