Intermountain Health Lutheran Hospital in Wheat Ridge, Colorado seeks an HIM Analyst II to support the ROI program by processing requests and ensuring compliant, timely release of information.
Responsibilities include entering requests, verifying patient identity, retrieving records from EPIC/OnBase, and coordinating with attorneys and agencies while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy. On-site, 40 hours weekly, with competitive benefits.
Supports the HIM Release of Information program through the facilitation of ROI-related processes and workflows designed to ensure the complete, accurate, timely and compliant release of information. The HIM Analyst II will collect, process, retrieve, analyze, and disseminate health care information/medical records for purposes of patient care, Subpoenas, attorney, regulatory and Risk Management requests. The incumbent will perform the release of information duties ensuring all requests are compliant, adhering to hospital and clinic policy as well as State and Federal guidelinesScope
High School Diploma or Equivalent is required
One (1) year experience in Release of Information HIM Department is required Degree in related field may satisfy 6 months of experience requirement
Associates Degree or Bachelors Degree in related field is preferred
Registered Health Information Technologist (RHIT) or Registered Health informationAdministrator (RHIA) is preferred
Two (2) years of experience working in Release of Information HIM Department is preferred
